Our Story
Who we are
Help on Wheels provides disability and community support across Sydney. We are led by registered nurses with extensive experience working in hospitals and the community who understand the value of thoughtful, consistent care. Your support is planned, delivered and reviewed with clinical oversight.
Our office is in Hurstville and our local roots run deep through the St George area and the Sutherland Shire. From there we support participants across Sydney and surrounding areas, and selected areas of NSW where a participant's plan and schedule allow.

Diversity and inclusion
Help on Wheels supports people of all cultures, languages, faiths, abilities, genders and sexualities. Many of our team speak two or more languages, and we take the time to match each participant with workers who genuinely suit them.
Help on Wheels acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which we live and work. We pay our respects to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elders past and present and recognise their continuing connection to land, waters, culture and community.

Meet the team behind Help on Wheels
Radhika
Chief executive officer
Radhika has led Help on Wheels since 2019 with a strong commitment to person-centred care. She brings over 14 years of experience as a registered nurse, along with more than a decade in the training sector. You will often see her checking in with staff, supporting participants behind the scenes and working closely with families and stakeholders.
Usha
Operations and care manager
Usha has been part of Help on Wheels for over six years and has been a registered nurse since 2016. She advocates for participants to receive the support they need, working alongside the team — listening, guiding and creating an environment where everyone feels valued.
Sangita
Client support officer
Sangita is often the first point of contact for participants, families and stakeholders. She keeps day-to-day processes running smoothly and makes sure enquiries are handled with care, so everyone feels welcomed and heard from their first interaction with us.
Suresh Rijal
Roster Coordinator
Suresh plays an important role in supporting the day-to-day operations at Help on Wheels. He manages staff rostering, provides ongoing support and supervision to team members, and helps ensure services are delivered safely and to a high standard. He conducts internal reviews of our homes and staff performance, assists with HR matters, and responds to urgent operational needs when required. Working closely with the team, Suresh contributes to continuous improvement and helps maintain the quality, consistency and values of Help on Wheels. He is easily reachable.
Era
Business development and onboarding manager
Era welcomes new participants and families, creating a smooth and well-structured onboarding experience. She also supports business development and community connections, coordinating events and liaising with stakeholders.
