How It Works
Planned with you, delivered with clinical oversight
High intensity supports are the parts of daily life that need clinical knowledge behind them. Because Help on Wheels is led by registered nurses, every one of these supports is assessed, planned and supervised clinically before a worker ever begins.
We write your plan with you, your family and your treating team, train the workers who will support you, and review the plan whenever your health or routine changes. All supports are delivered in line with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission's high intensity skills descriptors.

What We Provide
High intensity supports we provide

Continence and complex bowel care
Nurse-planned continence and bowel care routines, delivered discreetly by trained workers with clear reporting on any changes.
PEG and NG feeding care and support
Support with enteral feeding through PEG or nasogastric tubes, including site care, pump use and feed schedules set with your health team.
Dysphagia and mealtime support
Mealtime assistance that follows your speech pathologist's plan, with the right food and fluid textures and careful positioning.
Ventilation support — oxygen and CPAP
Day-to-day support with oxygen therapy and CPAP equipment, including set-up, monitoring and prompt escalation when something changes.
Tracheostomy support
Tracheostomy care planned and supervised by registered nurses, including suctioning, hygiene and emergency preparedness.
Urinary catheter support
Support with indwelling and intermittent catheters — hygiene, drainage, comfort and early identification of infection.
Medication management and injections
Medication assistance and administration, including injections where clinically appropriate, with accurate records at every visit.
Wound care and pressure injury
Complex wound and pressure injury care, dressing changes and prevention strategies reviewed as healing progresses.
All supports are delivered as a registered NDIS provider, in line with the NDIS Code of Conduct and NDIS Practice Standards overseen by the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission.
